Event Details

Come join us to learn the Korean alphabet!

You will learn to recognize (maybe even read) the Korean alphabet in less than half an hour.  More importantly, you will hear the stories about Hangul’s creation and its creator King Sejong the Great.

With recent the popularity of Korean music, dramas, and movies, this would be the perfect time to gain knowledge about interesting aspects of Korean culture, e.g. Korea’s incredibly scientific yet simple writing system and the compassion of the king who created it.

This program meets in the Conference Center, Lower Level. The instructors will be joining us virtually.
