NJ Makers Day is a state-wide celebration of maker culture. This all-ages event connects individuals with libraries, schools, businesses, and independent makerspaces that support making, tinkering, crafting, manufacturing, and STEM-based learning.

The Cherry Hill Public Library will be showing off some of our coolest Maker equipment as well as instructional classes and demonstrations. Maker Day encourages exploration for all ages and skill levels.

10 a.m. ‐ 12 p.m. – Introduction to Ancestry.com
The library has recently acquired a license to Ancestry.com Library Edition. Join us for an introduction to the website, where you can learn and discover the rich history of your familyRegister here.

11 a.m. ‐ 12 p.m. ‐ Introduction To Pickling!
Come on down and check out this demonstration on the art of pickling. Learn the basics so you can get started at home!

12 p.m. ‐ 4 p.m. – Demos, Crafts & More
Stop by the Conference Center for 3D printing and pancake printing demos, Raspberry Pi demos including a RetroPi, origami and button making. (While supplies last.)

2 p.m. ‐ 3 p.m. ‐ What’s Roasting?
Something smells good! People have been roasting coffee since ancient times. Come get a closer look at this aromatic delight! No registration.

2 p.m. ‐ 4 p.m. ‐ Science Saturday!
Come join us for some science fun and quick experiments on our 5 senses. Children of all ages are encouraged to participate. No registration required.
