Monmouth University professor Claude Taylor will lead a dynamic discussion on communication, racial identity, and contemporary American pop culture. Topics to be explored include: When did I become aware of my racial identity? How are media trends recasting traditional racial boundaries? What can case studies in the media tell us about how our environment influences the way we see ourselves and others? Following the presentation, he will answer questions and engage the audience in a thought provoking conversation.
