Event Details

Award-winning investigative reporter and New York Times best-selling author Robert Kolker will discuss his book, Lost Girls: An Unsolved American Mystery.

Kolker’s book delivers a haunting and humanizing account of the true-life search for a serial killer still at large on Long Island. In addition to the details of the crimes, he will discuss the broader issues of online escorts and how much of society turns a blind eye to those most vulnerable.

Lost Girls was named one of Publishers Weekly’s Top Ten Books of 2013. Kolker received the Harry Frank Guggenheim Excellence in Criminal Justice Reporting Award from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is also a contributing editor at New York Magazine and has been a finalist for a National Magazine Award.
