Event Details

In 1957, The Soviet Union launched the first artificial satellite into earth orbit.  On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first human to step on the moon.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, Kevin Woyce will present a series of historic photographs and vintage concept art to show the dramatic “Space Race”.   He will introduce the visionaries and scientists who made space travel possible and the American astronauts who boldly traveled “Where no one has gone before.”
