This lecture will follow in the footsteps of The Beatles as they embark on the creation of their eighth studio album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.  We will explore the genesis of how the songs were written, their musical influences, recording and production techniques and the iconic cover art.  In addition, we will discuss its legacy that not only defined the counterculture of a generation but whose musical landscape continues to influence contemporary society. The presentation is enhanced by visual backgrounds and audio clips. A splendid time is guaranteed for all!
