Event Details

Do you enjoy cooking? Are you constantly reading recipes? Join our new Cookbook Club! This club will meet every other month. Our next meetup is Wednesday, March 2, from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. and our theme is salads and breads.  We are also asking attendees to bring a friend to our next meeting, although it is not a requirement.

We have two cookbooks for this meeting:  Salad for Dinner, by Tasha De Serio and Honey & Oats by Jennifer Katzinger. Both are available at the Reference Desk. Please use these cookbooks for recipes. You are also welcome to find a recipe online, as long as it fits the selected theme. Together, we can choose the theme for our next meeting on Wednesday, May 4.

Here's how the Cookbook Club works:

Each participant is asked to sign-up and pick a recipe from the chosen cookbook (or use an online resource that fits the theme).  Please make one regular-sized recipe.  Email an accurate copy of the recipe you are making to mbrisbin@chplnj.org no later than two days before the event, so we have time to make copies. Prepare your recipe at home and bring the finished dish to the meeting to share.

You may sign up to join the Cookbook Club either by contacting Melissa Brisbin, mbrisbin@chplnj.org or (856) 903-1243, or at the Library Reference desk at (856) 667-0300 ext 3.
