This year, Bruce Lee would have celebrated his 75th birthday in November. Join us as we remember this cinema legend with a showing of his most famous film, “Enter the Dragon”, on Monday, November 30th at 6:30 p.m. Retired Burlington County Times film critic and Bruce Lee expert Lou Gaul will introduce the film, placing it in Lee’s life as well as the culture around it, and will host a Q&A after the film concludes. Don’t miss this birthday party for a man who influenced an entire industry and a generation of actors, directors, and writers!

Birthday cake will be served.

"Enter The Dragon” is rated R. No one under 17 will be admitted without a parent or guardian. Runtime 100 minutes.

About Lou Gaul:

Lou Gaul recently retired after 40 years as the film critic for the Burlington County Times and Calkins Media. He now works as a film correspondent for the newspaper chain, filing six movie-related stories each week. In addition, he has written for Rolling Stone, Fighting Stars Magazine, and Video Business magazine.

As a film critic, he has interviewed celebrities ranging from John Wayne to Jane Fonda and from Clint Eastwood to Madonna.

Gaul has a master’s degree in Cinema Studies from New York University, is a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association and for more than a decade served as an adjunct professor at Burlington County College, where he taught America Cinema.

In 1997, his book, “The Fist That Shook the World: The Cinema of Bruce Lee,” a study of the cultural and cinematic impact of the martial-arts superstar, was published.

His “At the Movies” radio segment airs live every other Friday between 10:30 and 11 a.m. as part of “The Dom Giordano Show” on WPHT-AM/1210.

In 2007, he was invited by the board of directors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences to attend the Oscar ceremony as a guest of the academy at the 79th Academy Awards.
